The Buena Vista Mountain Adventures (BVMA) AIARE 2 is a three-day course for advanced backcountry skiers and splitboarders who have completed AIARE 1 and Avalanche Rescue. Students refine decision-making skills for complex terrain, practice leadership in small groups, and learn to evaluate snow, weather, and avalanche processes to create informed travel plans and basic forecasts.
